We don’t get too much in the “fall colors”…not as much a s some places. We do get an autumn here, and when caught in the right light, can be a lot of fun.
Passerby

It can become difficult
This living thing.
Supposed to be
More than just
Being alive.
Too many
Walking by
Walking away
So much time on their hands.
Long enough to say hello
Maybe a few words
More important.
Waking up
In your house.
Eating dinner
‘Times
That’s all you get
‘Nuf for the needin’
Transcend

Neither standing or sitting
Without lying down
Hovering
With the smell of the earth
Telling me stories
Of life
And new living
Beyond my imagination
in-camera multiple exposures
“Uncertainty”

“Uncertainty”
Soft breezes gently lift
These old thin hairs on my head
Floating in slow motion
Fog rolls in quietly
The cunning wit of veiled doom
Or perhaps a false perception
Obscurity brings the anxious pangs
Unknown, why do you visit me?
Do you think
I do not know what lies beyond your pale?
Closing my weary eyes
I see beyond you
Your shroud has been torn away
Courage is not absent of fear
Moving forward
In spite of it
The Road In

Before you get
To the gettin’
Where the cars line up
And parking is impossible
Standing before monoliths
Like ants before boulders
A few miles short of the entrance to Yosemite Valley… a simple meadow
