To stop the pains

A bough of strength

Moon, Where Are You?
The diameter of the moon is more than 2000 miles.
And yet, search as I may, I cannot find it.
Is she hiding?
Behind a tree?
In the water’s reflection?
Perhaps,
She is hiding
From cow
That pesky cow
Jumping over
Poor moon
Paused
A world of banality
Holds its secrets close
Reveals them
Only to those willing
To look
And look again
“My beauty
Is not so obvious.
I will test
Your will”
Overhead Underfoot
The beauty of water
Is its ability
To reflect
And bend
One may enjoy
A peaceful moment
Lulling away
After ripples
Of conflicted
Realities
The peace
Of cool environs
The bustle
Of colliding contrails
